You could by 3 or 4 domains and start to build a blog network. Add different hosts as you go. Sell links for Ok money to reinvest in more domains or content.
Or build 2 or 3 portal sites in different niches. Up date each 2 or 3 times a day. I think that if you update that often with good posts and content you will rank high for long tails
