Oh, I've got my own ways of marketing. Solo sites don't make NEARLY as much as direct sale...nobody to split $$ with and no worrying about them signing up for a month, getting all your content for $30 (in which I would get half) and then going elsewhere. You just have to find a way and place to market. That's my experience anyway. I like the access to adult webmasters here. I do PLENTY of direct interaction with fans on other sites. Build-up of fans from over the years. Gotta remember, I do mainly Custom videos...every vid and pic you see on GFY was made as a custom set for a fan that bought it originally. These GFY'ers...aren't fans...their peers ; ) That's why I love this site so much. For years, I only sold to private buyers...but found GFY and I like the ease of business with most of the people here.
Thanks for the input though. And for the record...My old solo site is closing down...I'm STILL entertaining ideas and info on partnership from potential webmasters/marketers and such about a new one. Anybody, yourself included, have any unique ideas and ways of doing things, then hit me up with the info about your team, SEO, network, etc...I'm open to ideas on a new solo site.
