and girls should be able to wear bikinis to class right? would you be ok with your daughter doing that? freedom of expression is great but in school it should be done via creative methods rather than who can wear the most offensive shirt. i was in highschool in the 90's and got in trouble for a shirt that said 'mopar kicks ass'. i thought it was dumb but they can't pick and choose what is ok and what isn't. they can't not allow the kid wearing the shirt that says 'i am a teacher killing motherfucker' but allow one that just says 'ass' because its not *that* bad.
