when there is a relationship between an authority figure like a teacher and a student, there is reason to believe that authority could be being abused. if a teacher comes on to a student, would they face reprisal in the form of bad grades or otherwise if they resist?

teenagers might not know better but authority figures like teachers should know better and if they don't, perhaps they should get a new job. the same problem arises in boss/employee situations. both are adults but one has more power over the other. this should be pretty obvious to anyone.
