If a teacher wants a student, and the student the teacher, then let them be in love, what's your problem? Is the people jealous because they can not "bang" teenagers but they do? Anyway teenager still get sex from other teenagers, so it is not like if you were keeping them away from sex. You are only keeping them away for older people... But they still have sex.

when there is a relationship between an authority figure like a teacher and a student, there is reason to believe that authority could be being abused. if a teacher comes on to a student, would they face reprisal in the form of bad grades or otherwise if they resist?
teenagers might not know better but authority figures like teachers should know better and if they don't, perhaps they should get a new job. the same problem arises in boss/employee situations. both are adults but one has more power over the other. this should be pretty obvious to anyone.
