I think it's supposed to be a parody of that show Degrassi. I've never seen the show, but didn't Drake play a kid in a wheelchair? RebelR mentioned Canadian content laws, was Degrassi packed full of Canadian cultural references?
I can see how it wouldn't be as funny to a Canadian cause yous are familiar with all this stuff. Just the word Saskatoon is funny to me. Nobody knows where Saskatoon is, it might as well be in fucking Siberia.
