It used to be called "entrapment" but thanks to the failed war on drugs...the Supreme Court made rulings that now allow cops to do anything they want.

They can search you (they couldn't do that when I was younger), go through your wife's purse, search your car, etc.

And they do entrapment shit all the time now. I guess it's to boost up their numbers and justify more money being funded for them.

When I was living in S.C. a guy I knew got nailed HARD for selling coke. The cops set up a buy from him, and told him they wanted an ounce. And they told him to meet them at an address.
That address was right beside an elementary school.

So suddenly he was not only nailed for selling coke, but also got the automatic "upgrade" for doing it near a school!!!

So they made a law to "protect" the children...and then perverted that law to use it to get maximum sentencing. In other word the police themselves put the kids at risk by doing a drug deal right beside the school!!!

And they do shit like that all the time.

The cops will even pose as coke dealers. You buy some "coke" from them (which turns out to be sugar) and they arrest you on the spot.
There was no actual cocaine involved...but you intended on buying it...so it's a "conspiracy" (even though the cops themselves were the other half of the "conspiracy").

Shit is way out of control in my humble opinion.

They are creating crimes and then arresting people for it.
