No, at least, not here in Quebec anyway. Comparing apples to apples, it costs $0.08 cents of electricity to go the same range as $1.40 per litre of gas. Even a decent milage car at 11 Litres per 100 Kilometers, a driver saves over $3500 a year in energy costs.
