Those of you who are losing "thousands" because of a few hours of downtime have NO EXCUSE to be down.
If you're making thousands, or tens of thousands per day you should not be hosting out of a single facility. 
Talk to a qualified networking admin and ask them about building a redundant/fault tolerant network.

The wheels were put in motion after the nightmare last weekend and hopefully will be up and ready later today.
Anyone who can afford a ?few hours? downtime here and there are just running a hobby.
