As a non-Brit reading this thread the pro-Thatcher opinions are more persuasive. Unions were necessary at one time but they became as corrupt as their evil capitalist masters. I'm still pro-union, it's a shame that union leaders and members forgot the purpose of a union. Thatcher and Reagan had a real mutual admiration society between them. Reagan's greatest moment was firing every single air traffic controller who went on strike, thousands of them. K thnx and bye! They never go their jobs back. Idiots.

Could somebody please let Cherry 7 know that the 20th century is over and Communism turned out to be an utter failure, he somehow missed the memo.
