You're talking about a difficulty change? BTC or LTC?
Some quick calcs...
HD 7770 mining LTC = ~$4 profit/day
HD 7770 mining BTC = ~$1 profit/day
So yeah, maybe mining BTC aint so grand, even at the super high price it's at right now.
