You do this dumb shit all the time. Oh my god, ninety-three thousand words in 271 laws? That sounds horrible.
But then reality bitch smacks you in the face - only 271 federal laws? That's it? Figure some of them are about minors owning firearms, criminals owning firearms, laws about it being illegal to shoot people for no reason, laws about what determines what is self defense and what isn't, laws about concealed carrying, laws about background checks... And yeah, suddenly that list doesn't sound nearly as bad now does it?
I love it when you copy and paste from gun nut sites. I really liked the one about Chicago when they hit five hundred murders which looks horrible at first, but when compared to 1500 murders it looks a lot better... I also liked the one about the town in GA where people are "required by law" to own firearms and yet their crime rate is three times higher than my hometown here.
