I think a better idea is for a future show (avn or xbiz) to be scheduled at the same time (or close to) a mainstream show. I just went to WebSummit London and there were 50 companies in the startup competition. It would be great to invite 10 or so handpicked startups to come pitch at a show to try to raise money. Could get the guys in the biz with money looking to expand their portfolio.

Most of the top end adult guys i know would love to invest in a mainstream startup and have something they can put their name on publicly. Alot of these startups need money. I think as long as the event is very private and not publicly pushed (ie the startups don't need their name associated with porn) it could be a huge success for all involved.
