Most CC processors will issue a refund when customers threaten to chargeback. I think they should contact the owner first so they can verify downloads. There will always be douche bags that rip your entire site and then want their money back so they can do the same thing with another site.
When this happens, I send an email to the processor's fraud department telling them to ban that person from ever joining again. He liked your content enough to join and download a bunch of videos so there's nothing stopping him from doing it again after you build up some new content.
