you have a valid point there.
I'd catch people lying about going to university all the time, esp in Manitoba. They say they were going to 'business' school at the UofM, and until recently there was no 'business' school at the UofM, the program was called 'commerce', and no one I knew ever could call the commerce program 'business, cause the business program was the one from the community college and a joke and it was an insult to anyone in the commerce program to refer to their program as 'business'. Easy to route them out, I'd just ask, ahh you took a commerce degree? Those lying would usually say no, business. So i'd question further, CGA, CA? - they'd say no business. Then I'd ask what building this 'business' degree was headquartered in, at which point they would always get very frustrated and end the conversation. I get why it pisses you off, marines risk their life and train extensively to be called a marine. I spent 3 years and tens of thousands of dollars getting my degree, it pissed me off when some dropout thought he deserved the same recognition as someone who spent the time, money and effort to get a degree.
mind you, all the losers who aren't marines or ex marines or didn't actually get a degree but say they are or did would disagree... lol
