While there is no "solution" for preventing children from accessing or seeing free porn on the Internet, if everyone would agree that reducing the number of children who can freely access almost any kind of porn imagineable by 90% is worth doing then there ARE "solutions".
How about triple age verification? CC, mobile #, SSN #.
How about Google not posting porn images in their searches?
Of course LAWS are required to attempt anything regarding child protection. And the Laws will be flawed and likely be ineffectual. So the alternative is to do nothing?
A clever horny teenager will find his way around country blocks, IP restrictions, age verification, etc. He'll find a password-sharing site, he'll steal his dad's password he found in dad's wallet.....
But this is OKAY people. It's NORMAL. We WANT teenagers to have to hunt and hunt to find a way to SEE A TIT. It's part of growing up. Dad finds son whacking it to Playboy, yells at son, leaves room thinking 'Whew! At least he ain't gay..."
But to have this extreme porn EV-ER-Y-WHERE all the time is just too damn much. But then again, I also find viagra and strip club commercials offensive when I see or hear them before 10 pm.
This shit started when they released the Starr Report on the Internet back in 1998. Then laws were changed to allow condom and viagra commercials on the air anytime they want. So now I'm watching a Saturday morning cartoon show and up pops a Viagra ad! "Daddy, what's 'erectile dysfunction'?"
Some politician or mother's group is going to make all this shit a campaign issue then things will change. Not til then sadly.
