the fucker who coined the phrazes "rock ballad" and "hair bands" should be stoned to death. This is when the corporations finally killed rock music. There has been a lot of good bands and good shit come out after this, but the pure amount of good music was traded for gimmicks and MTV.
Speaking of which I saw a documentary of The Band a few weeks back that made me very nostalgic for that period of music. Anyone else catch that, was fantastic.
