I'm considering selling BabeWarehouse.com, which first graced the internet more than 13 years ago:
http://www.babewarehouse.com/
Domain Name: BABEWAREHOUSE.COM
Created on: 18-Jan-00
Expires on: 18-Jan-14
This site is a glamour model site, with a fully functional custom built CMS. Back in the day, this site earned 5 figures MONTHLY, but times have changed, and it makes only a small fraction of that now. I do not have exact numbers handy, as I purchased this site from a friend last year and have STILL not taken the time to get all the affiliate links updated and so on. I had grand ambitions when I bought the site from him, but frankly, I've been neglecting it and don't see that changing any time soon.
This site would be a GREAT start for someone looking to get into the business... it's a well ranked site featuring portfolios from close to 3500 models and photographers. When they come to the site, they create and maintain their own portfolio, and all you have to do is approve/deny submissions, mark "nude" photos, so they go into the "Adult Section" (behind AVS) - that is all there is to it. I can grab some screenshots of the back end if you'd like to see them.
If you buy the site, you get everything - the domain, 100% of the content, the (gmail hosted) email account, and even the existing web hosting... but you are of course welcome to move the site wherever you want.
Start by changing the hundreds of existing affiliate links to your own, and you'll be profitable from Day 1. Then spend some time revamping the site (it has essentially be untouched other than approving portfolios and adding a few paying text links here and there for, I don't know, close to 10 years, I think), and the sky is the limit. This site will make you money as-is, but if you put some time and effort into cleaning things up, adding some new revenue streams, and boosting traffic, there is no reason this site couldn't get back to the big time.
I'm honestly not sure how to value it, so I think it might be best to take offers on it. IMO, this investment is more about potential revenue for someone willing to take the time to make this site great again than it is in looking at the last 30 days revenue and plugging it into a formula, or looking at the traffic the site gets and figuring out how much it would be worth redirected to another one of your sites. I'd advise not buying it if you plan to redirect the domain or leave the site as-is on autopilot (hell, I've been doing that and can continue to do that myself), but I think it's a great opportunity for a driven person with some time to dedicate to it.
Feel free to reply with questions/offers here or email me at webmaster <at> terababes.com. Yes, you can reach me directly at webmaster <at> babewarehouse.com too, but I check the TB account more frequently.
