I have no idea what your nagging post has to do with the thread title, but that may be one reason why forum mods don't like you.
But yeah, I started a "successful" forum that's still rockin.  The trick is (well for me) you gotta make it very targeted towards something you personally know a whole lot about and have legit connects to. The traffic will come.
