he tested positive, went to his doctor - got treated.
went back re-tested and still showed positive (this test will always show pos even if you have been treated); he went back to his doctor and was told he was fine and no longer a transmission threat. Then he altered his test to remove the positive line... and went to work, agree bad decision but not same as knowingly worked with syphilis.

now continue with the witch hunt...
