I guess, I feel like, if they are going to ask people to donate to them and they are going to get tax-free status they should be spending that money to help people not to invest it so that their leadership can live a life of luxury.

I remember watching some of the procession when the last pope died and they were talking about how the tradition is that the pope must give up all his worldly possessions when he takes the office and he is buried in a humble, simple pine box. They talked like he was making some grand sacrifice. If I got to live in a building with ever luxury you could want, have private chefs make my every meal, have a staff of people do everything for me, have private tailors make all my clothes which and fly via private jet I would give up my worldly possessions as well.
