But both are pretty much as grassroots as it gets these days. Somebody always has to fund ANY movement. Somebody has to pay for people to go out and spread the word and have an office in all the cities, etc.
And most guys with real money and power actually give money to BOTH "sides" to hedge their bet.
All of us speculating and thinking how clever and smart we are...in reality we aren't even on the same page as a George Soros or the Koch Brothers.

Did you read the article? It's pretty well proven in that article that the Tea Party movement was pre-planned over 10 years ago by Citizens for a Sound Economy (CSE). To the point they even registered the domain name
www.usteaparty.com
Then magically years later the exact same tax plan that CES was pushing comes true, being pushed by the so called "grass roots Tea Party movement, right down to using the exact same name the "Tea Party". Added to this the Tea Party has been pushing anti tax for big tobacco which was the original goal of CES.
