Yeah, we did a fair amount of that as well. Just be very careful about anything resembling any kind of indemnity clause in the contracts. I watched a good friend ruin an otherwise healthy business in a matter of months by mistakenly agreeing to indemnify the general contractor with the federal government as the end client. When things went sour, the general contractor couldn't sue upward, so they took every remedy available to recoup losses from anyone below them on the chain.

For every 'we sold them $9,000 toilets' story I have ever heard, there are 100s of 'slow payment, everyone got sued, we all lost our ass on the job' stories out there with federal work unfortunately.
