Nobody is supposed to "play ball" with him. That's why there is separation of powers. Congress and The Senate are supposed to be involved.
And each representative is theoretically supposed to legislate on what he was voted in to do. Last time I checked...no Republicans were voted in to do what the Democrat party wants. They were voted in to do the exact opposite.
That's how our Democracy works when you think about it.
One of the reasons I voted FOR Obama in 2008 was he very publicly AGAINST stuff like this and the things that Bush had done.
And the reason I became disillusioned with him is because he turned out to be the exact same.

You voted for him the first time because he was going to do things differently. He does them differently and he loses your support because it wasn't a complete 180.
