If you would have never bought it that is one thing, the person who created gets nothing from you. But it doesn't change the fact that when you download it you now own it and the person who created it still has nothing from you.
Spot on. The sad part is that I think they do it to protect their ability to keep doing it. Its not about whats important, which is less internet regulation, its more about the fear of not getting microsoft 5012 for free anymore. Thats the impression i get.
