I do miss the Orange Bowl, it was easy for students to get to, just jump on the Metro Rail and then take the shuttle at Little Havana. I believe you can take the Metro to Sun Life but that's a bit of a trip. But let's be honest, even though the Orange Bowl was a great atmosphere it was ancient and had more obstructed view seats than any stadium I've ever been in, and if you drove there you had to park in someone's yard. I'd love for the Canes to have their own stadium, but where would you put it? Now that the Marlins stadium has the old Orange Bowl land there really is nowhere close to campus to put a Canes stadium...

Agreed...I thought that they'd be smart enough to at least configure the new stadium to accommodate football, even if not for the 'Fins.
When I was @ UM, the Metro Rail wasn't around yet, but followed shortly after.
LOL parking in someone's yard, was 1/2 the fun </sarcasm>, but we'd done it since seeing the 'Fins in the pre '72 seasons, so why not during my years @ the U? LOL!
