Hi folks,
I've managed to obtain (via Guidestar) the IRS Form 990 for IFFOR (i.e. $10 for each .XXX domain name goes there) for 2011. You can view it at:
http://www.loffs.com/images/icann/if...rm990-2011.pdf
All those following .XXX can now see that, among other things:
(a) Compensation: Joan Irvine - $130K, Clyde Beattie - $32,083, Sebastien Bachollete - $26,250
(b) $208,600 raised in fees. (presumably 20,860 domains @ $10/each) Although, there are currently more than 100,000 domain names.
(c) $37K spent on legal
(d) $100K spent on travel
(e) $36K spent on conferences
(f) $75K spent on "other"
(g) $60,833 spent on Board of Directors stipend
(h) $37,500 spent on Policy Council stipend
(i) $20,886 spent on content labeling
Anyhow, the entire document is worth reading, especially for critics of .XXX. The IRS Form 990 filings are mandatory for non-profits, so we can look forward to reading these every year from IFFOR (just like we do for ICANN and others).
