Those Pirhanas were obviously well-fed. I used to breed redbellies (although mine were the size of dinner-plates) and if I didn't feed em for a few days, anything that went into the tank was mincemeat in seconds. However, I kept them fed daily, because they liked to try to eat each other when there was a lack. The only thing they never devoured was the plecostamous. They took a nip at that fucker once, he latched on to the side of my male and took a chomp, started to suck, and they left him the fuck alone, forever. That's saying something, they even ate the mystery/apple snails I put in to clean up after the goldfish. Fucking nasty little fish, those. Only way I'd ever have them was as food for something else.
My mating pair of redbellies would pop back about 20-35 goldfish a day.. and we're talking good sized ones
