OK, so if I said to you - Money is no object - You no longer need to work - You are set for life.... - & You CAN afford whatever drink you like - You can drink as much as you like, when you like...
Would you not do it?
You cant 'break the law' and smoke cannabis, or do any other 'illegal drug' - But you can drink legal alcohol...
Would you REALLY not do it?

i was never much of a drinker, it tends to make me feel ill before i get drunk. i enjoy a few beers but not much beyond that typically. i can see how people can fall into it and then can't get out though. i have several friends who are alcoholics and they build up a tolerance to it and can't go a day without it. they've lost relationships, opportunities, health concerns and more. i couldn't do it just for the health reasons. i doubt my alcoholic friends will live long lives. it always seems to start out as a social thing when you're young but as you get older, they just drink by themselves mostly. it doesn't seem like much fun. i am a bit of a hypocrite because i smoke weed, i justify it as i only smoke a bowl which is like 1/4 joint in the evenings but its still a vice. if money was no object i think i'd be traveling the world rather than sitting by myself getting drunk every day.
