Of course the FIRST thing you have to do is get rid of the Ibanez pickups. And yes, the includes the Ibanez "Evolution" pickups on that JEM guitar.

I put in Seymour Duncan JB pickups. you can't go wrong.

Second thing you HAVE to do is take the tiny little pot metal bridge block off and throw it away. Replace it with a fat brass block http://www.fu-tone.com/catalog/index...ls3c2pdcc8nmd2

Those two things will bring that guitar from sounding like a tiny mosquito to being a fat, warm MONSTER.

I own a ton of guitars.
My favorite one right now is my Fender Custom Shop Jeff Beck Signature Strat. I put little JB's in for pickups and replaced the Fender trem block with a big steel Callaham block. The guitar is just AMAZING.
