It would be interesting to compare which killers were hailed as a hero and which were vilified. Were the people who committed the Dresden firebombing, killing at least 25,000 men, women, and children deserving of that title? Is anyone who kills in a war that is not for defense a hero? The US has been attacked on a large scale twice in the last 100 years. Once by Japan, and once on 9/11. Was it heroic to drop the bomb on Japan? I hope everyone will make their own decisions, and not become a thoughtless mouthpiece for either side of the political spectrum.
