Having alcoholics in society indirectly cost to everyone. Just imagine their future medical bills that would need to be payed by everybody. Not to mention most of them do not contribute much to society. Not to mention many of them leech welfare because they can not do any proper work.
So yes its pretty normal to dislike them.
