No, you don't! They suck!
The coolest thing about the phones are the style, and Dr Dre's name on them. They sound better than most, but for an extra $50 you can get a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 15's which are MUCH MUCH better. I know because I spent alot of time shopping for headphones. I liked the Beats's phones but only until I put on a pair of Bose.
I bought mine over a year ago listen with them all the time. I always have them on when working or trolling GFY.
