It does make a big difference, the profit that my company makes goes into my holding company after company tax. Company tax is MUCH lower than my person tax. So I keep my private income just below the top taxation level in this country (going above would mean more than 60% of the pay goes to tax).
Anything I can run over the company = good. Anything I have to pay for in private = not so good
I can then use the funds in my holding company to start new ventures or pay my own salary if I ever run out of funds in either of the other companies. Or use to invest in - say - a US company if I want to move there, so I can get into the country.

Health care is free in my country

But I do pay a small yearly fee (about $300) so I can go to a private hospital in case I want to - but that's something extra and I never had to use it.
I also do pay a premium on my accident insurance, because I do "risky" sports - downhill mtb riding. But that's incase I get seriously injured and thus disabled, so I have some money to life off. Going to the hospital is
always free. Unless it's cosmetic ofc.
