Here's a fun fact for you.
Henry Ford used to pay his workers $5 a day, that was 1 and a quarter of an ounce of gold, the equivalent of $2500/week.
So Ford's entry level factory workers were making the equivalent of $2500/week, they paid no income taxes and there was no union.
America paid the highest wages in the world but made the best quality, least expensive products.
How is that possible? Because the government was small, there was low taxation and no regulations.
