Okay.
I'm not Sheik Ali Baba of an oil rich nation or anything...but I own a $720,000 home that I financed. And I don't have 7.2 million dollars sitting around in cash (liquid).
I don't know why you think the way you do. Sounds like you're pretty frugal. Me? You only live one time. I worked hard for what I have, and it took time and effort to attain the kind of credit and collateral and ability to pay off the things I want out of life.
Lighten up! Try "posing" every once in a while! It's fun!

If you "buy" a car that costs half as much as your home, that makes no sense to me either. I'm hardly frugal but I also know how much it costs to maintain a Ferrari if you actually plan on driving more than a couple hundred miles per month. Thousands upon thousands for a tune up and a brake job? Unless you are very wealthy, thats going to sting every single time.
A $340k car is for somebody with vast sums of wealth (multi-millions liquid), not a guy making around 250k net a year and sitting on a mil or 2 (for example)
Comparing a home to a Ferarri is silly.
