Here in my state it is illegal for people to are licensed to carry and conceal a firearm to go anywhere onto school or university property with a firearm. Also, if I am picking up my kid at thier high school and they have an ex boyfriend or internet stalker after them I would prefer to be able to escort her to and from school armed. It's not a likely scenario, but that stuff happens to kids these days.
