Here's how it works for conspiracy theorists:
1. Find out Santa Claus isn't real. Decide to never trust any adult or authority figure ever again because they've been lying to you all along.
2. Assume that everything else you were told as a child is also a lie.
3. Willfully ignore facts and reality while making up a bunch of stuff to support your assumptions.
4. Develop an air of righteous superiority and self aggrandizement while claiming to know the "truth" about everything.
5. When confronted with facts and reality make up more stuff to keep the conspiracy alive. Non-falsifiable claims always work best.
6. Martyr yourself for the "truth" with some sort of attention grabbing crime to teach the sheep a lesson for not believing you.
