Notre Dame's star linebacker Manti Te'o, college football's defensive player of the year, contrived an amazing story of a girlfriend dying of leukemia dying hours of his grandmother dying that the press was all over - Deadspin investigates and finds the whole story is a lie.
Now Notre Dame is saying Te'o is a victim of a hoax played on him by several conspirators.
I get a ton of sadsack guys who email me that they have been sucked in and scammed by people using my models' photos - so I guess it's possible Te'o is a victim but he would have to be awfully stupid.
