The simple fact is that there is nothing in it for him to try to be specific and make predictions. Specificity is the enemy of bullshitters and lunatics. Why make concrete predictions and be 99% wrong in everything he predicts, when he can simply come back a year from now and announce he was right about everything he's ever said, as lunatics like him tend to do?
