Whatever bro. Nobody altered any standards. Believe it or not, I'm actually on your side. I want to see newbs do exactly what you say they "all" can do. So instead of going back and forth beating a dead horse here. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and try and help some of these newbs be all that they "can" and "should" be.
