Sorry to hear it happened to somebody else. Shame really, it is not bad software as it goes.

Re-setup of software cost fixed $160, is that too high? I will clarify scope of work covered by that fee:
1) getting your files from old server (including database backup), if you have some files missing we have to find file from our copy and make sure that is compatible with yours.
2) transfer data to new server
3) setup and configure apache on new sever, make sure it has necessary modules such as mod_rewrite, etc
4) modify mysql settings, create database and user
5) setup red5 server along with Java
6) put red5 into autostart
7) check firewall to make sure ports properly opened
8) install utilities on the server such as ffmpeg, imagemagick,
9) do setup in a way where Plesk/other control panel would not otherwrite configuration files
10) make 302 redirect from old website to new server
and that is when things go smooth, sometimes need more to do which depends on the server configuration (such as custom built apache from sources).
Probably someone can do it for less, but we could not. I would be more than happy if files are not lost and software works for years (we have such clients).
We also offer managed hosting with guaranteed backups and recovery of software in case of such problem, but I guess your servers were hosted with someone else and issues like lost files is their responsibility.
And finally I am really flexible person and happy to help my clients, but I could not afford to keep working free of charge fixing issues like this.
