Choopa Phil put it quite well in terms of doctors and what they prescribe. Often, it's a situation where the cure and it's side effects are worse than the problem.
In terms of blood pressure, exercise is always Plan A. Also, check out the
Resperate device. It's basically a biofeedback machine and in my experience, it works
