I've seen a real psychiatrist to try to figure out whether or not something is wrong. From what I've read and heard, the person who has the problem is the last to know due to denial or other self-delusions. I decided I'd see him because of the way I respond to loss or being accused of things that aren't true - I freak out. Seeing the head doc really helped with that, a lot, but it was intellectual discussion, rather than medicine, that did the trick. I still speak with my psychiatrist from time to time. I'm sorry to disappoint, but it turns out there's nothing wrong with me. Yes, I do realize that's not very colorful or interesting. It would be far more fascinating to have some scary diagnosis. There are definitely things I can work on to make better, but I don't have a diagnosable disorder of any kind. To be completely honest, hearing that news left me a little disappointed.
My gun collection is nothing to "brag" about. It's nothing special. I'm just vocal about it because so many here are "anti gun" when guns aren't the problem at all.
