If you are going to cheat people, at least do it in a way that you can't see it. Like shave 5% of the signups behind the scene.
Shaving 5% of the traffic by switching the webmaster id is so obvious. Sooner or later someone will find out about it.

Think about it for a sec. If you owned paysites, would You do it that way?
I sure as hell wouldn't. It's too obvious.
