When i was in the Philippines in the city of Cebu, there were armed guards everywhere. Starbucks had an armed guard with a really nice chrome shotgun. The mall checked you for guns on your way in. When we arrived at our hotel, the cab was checked for bombs. When we entered the hotel we were again checked for weapons.
I guess this is the way the world is headed.
