Are you kidding, Xanadu? How long have you been around the industry man? Back in the days when AVS thrived 1:200 conversion rates were common. As an affiliate you could make a middle class living just by submitting a 30 picture site once a week and living off of the AVS system's internal link list. You didn't need to do anything else. It was a fucking gold mine.

Today it's piracy which is putting the affiliate out of business combined with the short sidedness of many sponsors. I barely use sponsor content anymore. It's mostly crap. I can't compete with two minute promo clips when pornhub has 1,000 of the sponsor's full scenes or 7 minute promo clips the sponsor is giving them. I can't compete in Google when those promo clips are seen as duplicate content and the fucking pirate tube is seen as an massive original content provider. It isn't worth it. I have to bring in traffic with other content and increasingly I have to monetize outside of using affiliate programs because they all mostly convert 1:2,000 or worse.

As an affiliate would I go back to the days of AVS? You bet I would. You can come and chop off my right arm right now man if it meant in return hardcore porn would be illegal without a credit card worldwide. Hell maybe my left one too!

.....But this isn't the issue. My issue with Manwin isn't that I want free hardcore porn to be illegal. My issue is that they are fucking thieves. I don't mind losing business or adapting. I do mind some fucking scumbags cheating their way to the top and fucking over honest people though. Do that and I say "burn in hell!" I make no apologies. Why should the good people in this industry (and there are good people) be screwed over because of scumbags?
