To me, the Lakers' problems start at the top. Ever since Dr Buss turned control over to Little Jimmy, it's been one bad decision after another.
- Drove PJax off with an insulting pay cut(!) offer. Bad idea.
- Hires Mike Brown. Bad idea. The day that was announced, i told my dad (lifelong laker fan) "he isn't gonna last long'. The way he criminally misused LeBron all those years should have been a big hint lol.
- Hires D'Antoni when Phil is willing to come back. Extra bad idea.
It seems to be about ego with Jim Buss. When he let Phil walk the first time, he set about trying to expunge all memory of PJax.
Dr Buss 'got it' like few owners ever have. Jimmy, not so much.
