OMG this is too rich! A husband and his wife caused a domestic disturbance when the guy farted and the wife retaliated using Lysol spray. The commotion started when a South Carolina man passed gas which annoyed the hell out of his wife. She reported to the police that the smell was ?bad enough to cause her to almost puke?. The husband explained that an ?upset stomach? prompted him to pass the gas which angered his spouse.
Shannon Manatis reached for a can of vanilla-scented Lysol and sprayed it in the ?area? of the source. Her husband, Michael Manatis, told a Spartanburg County Sheriff?s Office deputy that she ?sprayed the Lysol in his eyes.?
Angered by this, the man threw water on her then tossed a plastic water bottle at her. The wife says she was struck with a glass of tea in the back of her head.
The deputy in the scene told reporters that, ?Upon my original arrival to the residence there was a clear liquid on the back door and floor. This was not consistent with tea but is believed to be water.? After consulting with a local judge, the investigator determined that there was a lack of probable cause to issue an arrest warrant.
