3. Add into that the adrenalin rush and see how you do. ( simulate it by running around a city block and shooting )

4. add in the known info that the guy is considered dangerous and with a drug background.

Im not saying they were justified as a taser would most likely have worked but wow. People just amaze me with the " Shoot him in the leg " idea.

There has been shooting after shooting with marks men involved in spaces of 12 feet distance and no one gets hit.
